Sunday Zone A = Distribution of 300,000 to 90% of full run
Sunday Zone B = Distribution of minimum 100,000 up to 299,999
Daily Zone = Distribution of fewer than 200,000; minimum 10,000 households
Sunday plus TMC will be billed at Sunday rates; daily plus TMC will be billed at daily rates
Paid and TMC quantities can be combined. FOODday will be billed at daily rates

Maximum tab size 11" x 14". All rates based on 30-lb. newsprint,tabloid size. Other weights and sizes, submit for approval and rate. Minimum 10,000 households. Sunday zoning available. Contact The Oregonian for zone preprint rates.

 

Preprint Frequency Discounts:

7-12 inserts 8% discount 30-39 inserts 15% discount 13-23 inserts 9% discount 40-49 inserts 20% discount 24-29 inserts 12% discount 50+ inserts 35% discount

A fiscal year contract agreement (dated the first of any given month) must be submitted by any advertiser who qualifies for this frequency structure. Earned rates or short rates will be applied. Daily and Sunday inserts can be combined to earn a more favorable discount.

Agency Commissions: 15%

Logo or Date Required: No

Reservation or Cancellation of Oregonian daily or Sunday preprints is 10 days prior to publication.

Product Sample Inserts: Must be submitted (minimum 30 days) in advance for acceptability and determination of cost.

Page Dimensions: Maximum 11" x 14"; minimum 4" x 6"

Shipping: Identification: Name of advertiser on outside of carton and on bill of lading. Lift count: 100-200. Turns: 50-100. Skids: 46" x 38" preferred, with 4" forklift space. Maximum weight: 2,000 lbs.

Delivery Instructions: Receipt of Oregonian daily or Sunday inserts 10 days prior to publication. (Thanksgiving inserts must be received 14 days in advance.) Accepted 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m.to 10:00 p.m.
