How to send your ad to The Oregonian

Sending by FTP

(Preferred Method)

PC - Web browser or FTP Application
MAC* - FTP Application
For Web Browsers capable of FTP uploading*, type:
ftp://adservice.oregonian.com into your URL field of the Browser.
(Note: It may take time to connect to the site, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.)

When connected, your web browser may display "Current Directory is /" at the top of the page. You can simply drag and drop the ad file over the main browser window and release.
(Note: The filename that you upload to the FTP server MUST NOT be longer than 28 characters.)

*Macintosh: Web Browsers DO NOT support Drag and Drop FTP file uploading. You should use a "FTP" client program such as "Fetch" or "Transmit."

FTP client instructions:
FTP address: ftp.adservice.oregonian.com
user name: ads
password: ads4Sales
Directory: /
(Note the uppercase S in the password "ads4Sales")
