Photo & Info Style
Photographs
You may mail us your photo or email an un-cropped digital photo saved as a "jpg" or "tif" file at 200 DPI resolution or higher.
The Oregonian will return your photo. Place your name and contact information on the back.
Photos are scanned into a computer, then sized to fit the announcement you order.
Please avoid landscape (horizontal) photos.
A 4x5 or larger glossy, black & white photograph will reproduce the best. Most good-quality photos, color or back & white, at most any size will reproduce well. An un-cropped digital photo saved as a "jpg" or "tif" file at 200 DPI resolution or higher is also acceptable.
Not Acceptable: Negatives, photocopies, photos scanned or printed off a computer.
The Oregonian is not responsible for poor reproduction of poor-quality photos or photo loss or damage.
We reserve the right to refuse photos that are deemed to be of poor quality and poor taste and the right to crop photos as necessary.
